ABOUT GREEN CODE CONSULTANTS
Green Code Consultants Ltd is a planning consultancy. We advise on planning strategy and coordinate the specialist reports a proposal requires, for homeowners, architects, developers and the professional advisers who act for them, from feasibility to the discharge of conditions.

HOW WE ARE ORGANISED
Our practice is built around a collaborative way of working: bring the expertise needed for the project together, agree a common brief and coordinate the contributions. Planning advice and technical evidence are considered alongside the design so that the team can understand how one decision affects another.
The relevant specialists are brought into the project according to its scope and constraints. You may need a single report, a focused group of consultants or support across several planning stages. The team and appointment arrangements are agreed around that need.
Each consultant is responsible for their specialist assessment and advice. Our role is to coordinate the agreed planning work, keep dependencies visible and help the team assemble a consistent submission.
Your architect and other appointed professionals can work alongside the consultants through the coordinated project process. Architectural drawings remain with the appointed design team; our role is to connect those drawings with the supporting planning evidence.
WHO WE ARE
Planning decisions often involve considerations that extend well beyond a single technical issue: heritage, neighbours, drainage, cost and programme among them. Our approach is to understand those wider circumstances, identify the material risks and give advice that allows clients to proceed with clarity.
Our role is to understand what you want to achieve, identify the planning issues and coordinate the evidence needed to support a considered proposal. We work alongside your architect and other consultants, with responsibilities clearly defined.
You can appoint us for a specific study, report or submission, or for a coordinated service covering several planning stages.

We do
We don’t
Property and commercial matters are often sensitive. Site details, drawings and financial information are shared only with the specialists and authorities who need them to deliver the instruction.
Our advice reflects our professional view of the planning position, including where that view is not what a client hoped to hear. It is not shaped by the progress of a sale or by who introduced the instruction.
A report provides evidence; it does not decide an application. We explain what each document can and cannot establish, and we do not promise planning outcomes, which rest with the council or the Planning Inspectorate.
Your appointment is with Green Code Consultants Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 14257020, registered office Unit D New Wave House, 4 Humber Road, London NW2 6DW. Specialist work is carried out by suitably qualified consultants, and your fee proposal confirms who prepares each document.

YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED
Clear answers to help you plan your next step.
Yes. We can provide a defined report or assessment alongside your existing project team. We first confirm the proposal, information available and purpose of the document so the scope fits your instruction.
Yes. We can provide planning advice and coordinate specialist consultant reports alongside your architect’s drawings. We agree responsibilities, drawing revisions and information requirements so the documents describe the same proposal.
Please send the site address, a short description of your objectives, your current planning stage and the latest drawings. Include decision notices, council correspondence and existing reports where available, and tell us about any relevant deadline.
We bring the relevant planning consultants and specialist providers into a coordinated project team. They work from an agreed brief and current proposal, with dependencies and design changes discussed across disciplines. Each consultant remains responsible for their own professional advice and agreed deliverables.
OUR ROLE IN YOUR PROJECT
A planning project often starts with uncertainty: what can be developed, which information is needed and whether to seek council advice before submitting an application. Our role is to make those questions explicit, explain the evidence needed and agree a practical next step.
We help connect the planning strategy with the work of the architect and specialist consultants. The written planning case, technical reports and supplied drawings should describe the same proposal, use consistent project information and make their assumptions clear.
Appointments can cover one defined document or several stages of support. The scope is agreed around your project, available information and the decisions you need to make.
A COORDINATED SERVICE
We identify the planning issues, prepare the agreed written evidence and coordinate submission tasks within the appointment. Your design team remains responsible for the drawings it prepares.
Some evidence requires specialist surveys, calculations or assessments. We identify these needs and agree the appointment arrangements, deliverables and dependencies before work is commissioned.
Reports should help you understand the implications for your proposal. We explain outstanding information and the decisions needed to progress, from an early feasibility review to evidence for planning conditions.
